'Sik Tak Fan La!' Charity Program

Since 2017, 7-Eleven has supported Pei Ho Counterparts – the social enterprise founded by Chan Cheuk-ming (Ming Gor) in Sham Shui Po – by funding hot-meal distributions and donating essential supplies each year, working together to provide a warm meal for people in need, including elderly people living alone, the homeless and low-income families.
In 2022, staying true to our purpose of serving and giving back, we formally launched 'Sik Tak Fan La!' Charity Program to provide sustained support for Pei Ho Counterparts. The initiative offers free food and daily essentials to people in need – including the homeless – and creates a steady, long-term stream of support for Pei Ho’s services.

Sik Tak Fan La! suggests ‘your meal is ready’ in Cantonese – a warm call that reflects Ming Gor’s belief in personally delivering hot meals to people in need so they can eat right away. Through 'Sik Tak Fan La!', for every 7-SELECT lunchbox purchased, 7-Eleven donates HK$0.5 to Pei Ho Counterparts to support its meal services. The 11th of each month is our Double Up Day, when donations on designated lunchboxes double to HK$1.
'Sik Tak Fan La!' makes use of our city-wide store network to bridge donors and recipients, so people from all walks of life can take part. By pooling public support, the initiative creates sustained backing for Pei Ho Counterparts and helps more people in need. Through the initiative, 7-Eleven aims to serve Sham Shui Po and other districts – putting our commitment to give back to the community into practice.
Volunteer Outreach
Our 7-Eleven Volunteer Team works with Pei Ho Counterparts to run regular outreach visits in Sham Shui Po – delivering hot meals, water, daily necessities and festive care packs to elderly people living alone, the homeless and low-income families. We’re also extending these activities beyond Sham Shui Po so we can reach more people in need and do our part across the wider community.
