How to get JR Pass
Step 1 - Book JR Pass: Select the JR Pass that suits your itinerary.
Step 2 - Receive Voucher: Receive a physical ticket (MCO) by post or an e-ticket (eMCO) by e-mail.
Step 3 - Redeem JR Pass in Japan: Present the MCO/eMCO voucher and passport to redeem the physical JR Pass at the ticket counter/vending machine within the specified time from the issue date.
Step 4 - Select the activation date and enjoy unlimited rides: Choose the date to activate your JR Pass and make reservations for specified seats to ride unlimited times on specified trains.
